WE'VE got a massive £10,000 to give away to local schools.
And getting a share of the cash couldn't be easier.
Cash For Schools, a partnership between the Reporter Series and Barclays, will see cash prizes handed out to the five schools collecting the most tokens over 10 weeks.

The one collecting the most will scoop a whopping £3,000 – and there will be bonus tokens up for grabs for schools with projects aimed at improving kids' financial skills, like a school bank, shop or enterprise initiative such as growing or making things to sell.

Schools can spend the prize money on whatever they need.*
Simply download and print the registration form here, fill it in and send it back to us. Then we'll be printing tokens starting in the new year – so get your scissors at the ready! Parents, pupils and supporters should hand their tokens to their school.

The £10,000 prize will be split into five separate amounts:
* 1st prize £3,000;
* 2nd prize £2,500;
* 3rd prize £2,000;
* 4th prize £1,500;
* 5th prize £1,000.

The five winning schools will be those who collect the most tokens per pupil – so small schools will have just as good a chance of getting their hands on the top prize as the bigger ones.

Marie Morris, community investment manager for Barclays, explained that the Barclays Money Skills project aimed to give young people the skills and confidence needed to manage increasingly complex financial challenges, from sticking to a budget to understanding things like credit agreements.

She said: "By encouraging Barclays employees to volunteer and make use of their unique banking skills we aim to make a tangible and positive difference helping young people manage their money better. We believe that this expertise, as well as our money, can make a huge difference to the communities we live and work in."

Barclays Money Skills activity packs for schools or colleges are available through our offices.

We'll also be running fun quizzes and the chance to win a fantastic prize so keep your eyes peeled each week.

* The Reporter and Barclays reserve the right to discount any projects deemed unsuitable.
