Flooding my village Re your article "New home flood worries" in a recent edition of the paper , and the possibility of between 4-5000 new homes being built in Dewsbury south which obviously relates to Thornhill Lees (I stand to be corrected).

A team for our town I am writing to let your readers know that the new Dewsbury Town Team met for the first time last Tuesday.

Are we now Huddersfield? What the residents of Dewsbury feared has now become reality: Our town is now officially Huddersfield – at least, in the eyes of Kirklees College it would appear to be.
