I have lived in Dewsbury for the past five years.
I have always known Dewsbury to be an OK place to live but I have to say I am shocked at what is happening in my area at the moment.
Kids going missing and parents involved in it, kids breaking into garages, racial attacks, underage drinking, I could go on but what's the point!
I care about where I live and what is happening around me, but no one else seems to.
It is not the 'kids of today' causing all the problems it is everyone else not having pride in their community and the area in which they live.
There seems to be too many people wanting things to change but not being prepared to do anything about it.
Stop ignoring what is happening around you and lift the levels on what is acceptable.
Have some community spirit, care about what is happening around you, you never know, things might change.
