WHAT has Kirklees got against blue badge/disabled drivers? Parking near to the shops is a nightmare for people with walking difficulties. On numerous occasions we have visited Dewsbury I had to go home becasue we couldn't find a place to park.
We once thought we had found a spot on Corporation Street, but 30 minutes later when we got back we had been issued a parking ticket, we appealed but to no avail.

We now do our shopping in Wakefield. I'm surprised the roads into Dewsbury are not sign-posted 'Disabled drivers not welcome'.
