Searching for mason's house

MY great grandfather Gill Stead was a stone mason who lived in Mirfield all his life.
In 1895 he supplied 615 milestones for West Riding County Council, many of which are still standing.
He spent the last 20 years of his life in Crossley, Mirfield, and we have just discovered that in 1922, when his widow Mary died, the house was called Prospect View.
We would dearly like to know where the house was and whether it is still standing. If it is I would like to bring my sister to visit it when she comes over from Canada in the summer. Is there anyone who knows of the family or the house?
Huddersfield Local Studies library and Wakefield archives have been most helpful but have not been able to come up with the final piece to the jigsaw – so this appeal is our last hope.
