Could someone please explain as to why the speed camera on Slaithwaite Road has been moved from near the school back up the road toward Thornhill (Kwik Save/Asda Hill).
This must be to line the pockets of the revenue collectors because the camera arrived near the school after the tragic accident involving a young child from the school, so fair enough, you have an accident, you reduce the risk and police the road with a camera.
But to then take this camera away and move it onto a steep hill, half hidden behind a tree is simply just not on!
I suggest that we all bomard the authorities and get this camera back to where it is needed.
Just who makes these decisions? No wonder this country is no longer great!
Get it sorted, because we won't put up with such rubbish!
