CAN anyone in Dewsbury remember the last MP who opened an office in the town centre to help local people?
One how made it easily accessible to people, opening between 9am and 5pm. Or an MP who said no matter how big or how small your problem I am only to happy to help you.

Can anyone remember the last MP who lived in the heart of the Dewsbury communit
y and attended so many different local community events, helping to raise so much money for local good causes?

Can anyone remember the last MP who actively campaigned on behalf of local people on so many different issues, getting results on issues that people said had no chance of succeeding?

Can anyone remember the last MP to make Dewsbury pensioners like me a priority, holding Dewsbury's first pensioners advice fair and holding a veterans celebration to recognise the contribution made by so many from my generation?

Can anyone remember the last MP to encourage local people, several thousand of them school children, to visit Parliament, arranging the tours personally and taking time out of their schedule to meet with them to discuss a range of different issues?

Can anyone remember the last MP who had to endure the kind of unwarranted and over the top criticism that Mr Malik was subjected to in the Reporter on May 22?
