School’s big band to perform show

A school band is to perform a special concert.

Heckmondwike Grammar School’s big band is putting on a show at the Trinity Centre, Upper Road, Batley Carr.

The concert takes place on Friday March 8 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 including refreshments.

The band plays concerts around the county including at Dewsbury Minster.

The band has a regular spot at Marsden Jazz Festival, where it has been performing for 15 years.
