West Yorkshire Playhouse production of WIND IN THE WILLOWS by Kenneth Grahame adapted by Alan Bennett directed by Ian Brown
THE adventures of Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad come to life on the Leeds stage this month.
This lively festive show, which playwright Alan Bennett has adapted from Kenneth Grahame’s family classic The Wind in the Willows is performed by a talented ensemble of 16 actor-musicians, joined by a supporting cast of 20 young people auditioned from across Yorkshire.
Family audiences will be transported via car, train or horse-drawn caravan into the idyllic world of Grahame’s much loved characters, from the charming tranquillity of Ratty’s riverbank to the spectacular chaos of Toad Hall.
