Couns Martyn Bolt, Karam Hussain, Khizar Iqbal and Paul Kane were celebrating today after retaining power in the local elections.
Mirfield Conservative councillor Martyn Bolt kept his seat with a massive 2,433 majority and polled more than the other five candidates combined.
And all three defending councillors in Dewsbury also kept their seats.
In Dewsbury East, Labour co
uncillor Paul Kane has kept his seat on Kirklees Council. But BNP nominee Alan Girvan came second, with more than 1,400 votes.
In Dewsbury West, Lib Dem Coun Karam Hussain kept his seat with a comfortable 1,382 majority.
In Dewsbury South, Conservative Coun Khizar Iqbal, cabinet member for safer communities, also kept his seat.

Elsewhere Heckmondwike BNP councillor David Exley was ousted by Labour in a shock result.
Coun Exley was the first BNP councillor to be elected onto Kirklees and was the leader of the three-strong group.
It was the second time he defended his seat after initially being voted in during a by-election.
In the 2008 results, just announced, he was beaten into second place by Labour's Steve Hall with a majority of 194 votes.
