A MUM is appealing to Reporter readers to reunite her two-year-old son with his missing teddy blanket.
Debbie Ryan said her son William had been devastated since the blanket, with a teddy bear attached to one corner, was lost on a trip to Asda in Dewsbury on Saturday, May 4.

They realised 'teddy' was missing while they were still in the store and returned three times that day to check whether it had been handed in but had no luck finding it.

Ms Ryan, 33, of Kirk Close, Dewsbury, said: "He's absolutely devastated. He's had it since he was three months old. He took it absolutely everywhere.

"We went on holiday on the Monday and we had such a bad time because William usually goes to bed with it. It's just very hard to get him to settle at night. We've tried to replace it but they don't make this one any more. We've tried similar ones but he just throws it on the floor and says he wants teddy."

The family are offering a small reward to anyone who can return teddy to William.

Ms Ryan added: "A child might have picked it up and taken it home not realising what it means to him. It's never leaving the house if it gets returned!"

If you can reunite William with his teddy blanket phone Debbie on 07850 085254.
