A FUNDRAISING group has raised more than £1,500 for Kirkwood Hospice.
Hopton Pantomime Support Group raised £1,596 with a sponsored walk last month.
Fifty-one people took part in the seven-mile trek from Emley Moor Mast to Lower Hopton. Another £201 was raised last Sunday at tea party. Organiser Marie Peacock gave a special thank you to Longstaff's of Mirfield for the use of their bus and driver, Glenn.
