DEWSBURY and District Hospital staff were among those honoured at an annual awards ceremony.
More than 200 doctors, nurses and healthcare workers attended the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust awards, which were presented by BBC Look North weatherman Paul Hudson last Friday.
Julia Squire, trust chief executive, said: "More than 7,000 people work at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals and they do extraordinary things every day.
"We had more than 80 nominations for our awards and this just touches the surface of the many examples there are across our hospitals of innovation, commitment and sheer hard work to improve services for patients and for staff and in making sure we are the best at what we do."
Dr Ariya De Silva, consultant in genito-urinary medicine at Dewsbury Hospital's award-winning Chadwick Clinic, won the leadership award.
The sexual health service, partly based at the Chadwick clinic, was given the excellence in service delivery award for enthusiasm and responsiveness.

Other category winners were: Chairman's award and collaborative and partnership working, the hand therapy unit based at Pinderfields with outpatients clinics at Pontefract and Dewsbury; Patient and user involvement, Helen Chadwick, laryngectomy nurse, and Nina Corfield and Andrea Dew, specialist speech and language therapists; Patient care, Orla Austin, consultant plastic surgeon and the rest of the plastics team for their work within breast reconstruction; Improving the working lives of staff, head of the appointments centre Adrienne Campbell and the appointments centre team; Innovation and improvement, the arrivals lounge team; MY Star, Jacqui Pollington, respiratory nurse.
