A FOOTBALL legend has rounded up support for a Mirfield charity's annual fundraising day.
Huddersfield Town ambassador Andy Booth, a champion of town sponsors Holly Bank Trust, helped the charity get set for its annual Wear Red day by handing out red Town away shirts, which feature the trust's logo on the back.

The charity, which supports young people and adults with severe disabilities, holds the event to support the work it does.

And staff at Huddersfield Town dug deep to help raise extra cash for the trust.

Andy said: "As a Holly Bank champion I thought it was important to get every member of staff involved with the Wear Red day – it seems the least we could do given the support they have given us this season.

"It seemed fitting that their staff should wear our away shirt – after all, it has the Holly Bank logo on and is predominantly red!

"Everyone at Huddersfield Town is always happy to support the Hollybank Trust; the work they undertake is invaluable and deserves all the support it can get."

Andy is pictured with Holly Bank mascot Holly Bear, and Nicky Doyle and Lisa Russell from the trust.
