A YOUNG football fan had the experience of a lifetime after winning a competition to be a championship mascot.
Eight-year-old Harrison Fearnley, of Bracken Hill, Mirfield, got to stand with West Bromwich Albion's fullback Paul Robinson at their FA Cup semi-final game on April 5.
His dad Lee won the place in a newspaper competition.
He said: "Harrison is a keen player for Battyeford Sporting Club and a season ticket holder at Huddersfield Town, but as we were honoury West Brom fans for the day it was a shame they lost the game one-nil to Portsmouth."
The Battyeford Primary School pupil said it was a dream come true.
He said: "I couldn't believe that I had won. I've been telling all my friends I got to go to Wembley and I've been on TV. My mum recorded it for me - it was really cool to see myself. They give you a passport card to get into Wembley to wear round your neck and I got to keep that.
"It was really unbelievable."
