MIRFIELD'S world class spa is in line for another accolade.
Last year Eastthorpe Health and Beauty Spa was crowned day spa of the year at the British Beauty Awards.
Now they have beaten 800 spas to reach the shortlist – the final four – for the best day spa category at the Professional Beauty Awards, which is voted for by consumers.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London in March.
Partner Sam Pearce said she thought they had been nominated because of their good reputation and service record, and the fact they were constantly striving to improve and develop.
She said: "Of our existing clientele 80 per cent have been before so we are appealing to them all the time with something new."
She said also in March the spa's new swimming pool would be opened – by an A-list celebrity.
