A SIX-YEAR-OLD Mirfield boy was reduced to tears when he discovered his beloved scooter and bicycle had both been stolen.
William Priestley had his toys taken from his front garden on Green Terrace overnight between Tuesday July 8 and Wednesday July 9.
His mother, Suzanne, said: "He was in tears this morning – I had to send him off to school all bleary-eyed."
She appealed for help tracing the bike and the scooter, which both have distinctive features.
The scooter is bright orange with the words 'Hot Wheels' written in black letters. The bicycle is silver and yellow. It has red brake levers, which do not match the rest of the bike as they were fitted as replacements.
Anyone with information should contact police on 0845 6060606 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
