Cleckheaton man charged with burglaries on Yorkshire coast

A man has been charged with two burglaries and the theft of a car on the same day.

Adam Virr, 33, of High Street, Cleckheaton, was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft of a motor vehicle, said Humberside Police.

Items were reported stolen from a property on Cardigan Road, Bridlington, a car was reported stolen from a property on Lansdowne Road, Bridlington and items were reported stolen from a garage on Main Street, Wetwang.

The raids took place on Saturday October 24.

Virr was due to appear before Leeds Magistrates’ Court.
