A driver who had been disqualified had his car seized after police discovered he re-sat his test under a new name.

The Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team seized the car from Pavillion Close in Batley for no insurance.

The driver who had been previously disqualified, had applied for a new driving licence, in a new name and even re-sat the test.

A spokesperson for the team said: "Unfortunately thats not quiet how it works. For his troubles the driver will be invited for a day trip to court.
