Four arrested after brawl at Dewsbury Asda store

Four men have been arrested after a late night brawl inside and outside Asda in Dewsbury.

The four men, who are all local and between the ages of 19 and 29, have been arrested on suspicion of affray following the brawl which happened between 11.45pm and 12pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The violence initially started in the store on Mill Street West.

Police say punches were thrown and stock was knocked off shelves.

Members of staff intervened and the men left the store, before continuing the fight outside.

Police have confirmed that no staff or members of the public were injured.

The four men arrested are set to be quizzed by police today.
