Two men have been charged with trafficking offences in connection with an ongoing investigation into sexual offences.

Ismail Haji, 37, of Rotary Close, Dewsbury, and Mohammed Chothia, 35, of Whitehall Way, Dewsbury, are expected to appear at Wakefield Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Haji has been charged with two offences of rape, an offence of trafficking with a view to sexual exploitation and a sexual grooming offence.

Mohammed Chothia has been charged with sexual assault, an offence of trafficking with a view to sexual exploitation and a sexual grooming offence.

The charges relate to offences against two girls and a woman from the Wakefield area.

All the offences are alleged to have occurred between September and October this year.
