Police are appealing for information after an iPad and a number of other personal items were stolen from a train.

A man boarded the 5.33pm Kings Cross to Harrogate service at Wakefield on Thursday March 8 at around 7.45pm with a female companion.

He then removed the items from an overhead luggage rack and left the train with them at Leeds.

PC Katalin Zelei from BTP said: “We’d like to speak to the man pictured who we believe may help out enquiries into this theft. I’d urge anyone who knows his identity to contact us.”
