The driver of a car involved in a fatal crash in Batley has since been arrested for taking a car without consent, West Yorkshire Police have confirmed.
Paramedics pronounced Yasar Hussain, 18, of Howard Street, dead at the scene after a Nissan Micra he was the front seat passenger in hit a tree in Victoria Avenue at around 9.55pm on November 25.
The 21-year-old driver was initially taken to Leeds General Infirmary with another male passenger, 18. Both were said to have serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
