A drag queen, male stripper and male waiters will all be appearing at a Mirfield ladies’ night.

The event at Old Bank Working Men’s Club is in aid of Lynsey Chandler’s Kilimanjaro challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Lynsey, of Hollindene Drive, has already raised more than £3,500 but needs another £1,000 to reach her target. She will take on the challenge in Tanzania, Africa, later this year.

Landlord Tony Arabskyj said: “It’s going to be a really good show. We’ve got a really good crew of waiters and it should be a great laugh.”

There will also be party games and raffle at the event, which starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are available in advance only, £8 from the club or Boots in Old Bank Road.
