THE favourite songs of a schoolgirl who died from cancer will help raise funds for a trust set up in her name.

Friends of the Shaw family have recorded a CD in memory of 11-year-old Eden, who died in April 2008.

Clara Moore, KD Lauridsen, Ricky Alan and Paul Farnhill all recorded tracks for the album, including Dream Catch Me, Castles in the Sky and Tears in Heaven.

Mum Rachael Shaw, of St Paulinus Close, Westtown, said: “It was all Paul’s idea. He did it as a surprise for me and stayed up until 4am to get them all printed. I think it’s brilliant.”

Proceeds will go to Eden’s Trust, which has been set up by her family to support the charities Candlelighters and Children With Cancer.

More CDs are being printed after the first 50 sold out in under a week. Phone Rachael on 07515 415620 to order a CD priced £5.
