Charity’s evening of spice

AN Indian themed night of food and entertainment is taking place to raise money for a children’s hospice.

The event, in aid of the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, has been organised by Howarth’s Employment Law in Cleckheaton, and Bradford’s HSBC Bank,

It will feature Indian food, Bollywood dancers, dhol drums, and a raffle and auction.

Tracey Craven, business development director at Howarth’s, said the firm had supported the charity since fundraising work began 12 years ago to pay for a new children’s hospice in West Yorkshire.

Currently the charity provides hospice care at home and is building its own site.

She said Howarth’s was asking businesses and individuals to come along to the event and help raise money for the charity.

She said: “This promises to be a superb event, quite different from the usual black tie fundraiser and for a brilliant cause.

“The hospice needs to raise a significant amount of money each year so they can continue to provide such an extraordinary service and they need more sponsors, so why not do your bit for charity with a fun night of a Bollywood experience?

“Our team at Howarth’s are entering fully into the spirit of the evening by wearing traditional Asian dress!”

The event takes place at the Aakash restaurant in Bradford Road, Cleckheaton, on Monday September 24.

Tickets are £25 per head or £250 for a table of 10.

Contact Lindsey at Howarths on 01274 864 999 for tickets.
