Dewsbury pub hosts Blues For The Lost and Found Festival

The first Blues For The Lost and Found Festival for charity will take place at the Black Bull in Dewsbury tomorrow.

Proceeds from the gig, at the Market Place pub, will be shared between cancer charity Rock of the North and the Ben Manning Music Foundation, which was set-up in memory of Ben, who died on a night out in Wakefield last year.

Ben’s brother, Lee, who formed the foundation and has organised the event, said: “We’ve raised £80,000 since we set-up the foundation in February last year just through public donations.

“If we could get another £1,000 from Sunday to split between the two charities, that would be a fantastic effort.”

A number of blues artists will be playing, including the Tom Kilner Band, the Bonnie Mac Blues Band and the Welsh T Band.
