Children at Earlsheaton Infants School learnt everything they need to stay safe during a special theme day.
School nurses and members of the Kirklees Road Safety Team came into the Commercial Street school last Thursday for a special health and safety day.
As well as learning how to stay safe around medicines and road safety tips, the children even produced their own risk assessments to learn all about what it takes to keep them safe in school.
Headteacher Wendy Kelly said: “We hold theme days every half term and last week’s day was held to give the children a firm understanding of differnet ways to stay safe.
“The children all reported in assembly that they had really enjoyed the day and learnt a lot.”
