APPEAL: Police have released a new photograph of missing Huddersfield man Alan Holt who was last seen in Mirfield.

Police have released a new photo of missing man Alan Holt who has not been seen for three months.

The 40-year-old from Dalton is thought to be sleeping rough in the Mirfield area.

Mr Holt was last seen at his home in Albany Road on September 27, 2012, and was reported missing to police five days later.

He was then seen in the grounds of St Mary’s Church in Mirfield on October 8, 2012. He was described on that occasion as wearing a blue jumper and jeans, and had either a Lidl or Aldi carrier bag with him.

Mr Holt is white, 5ft 8ins tall and slim. He is balding on top with black, greying hair at the back and sides. He also has a tattoo on his left shoulder which reads ‘On Fire’. He may now have a full beard.
