THE members of a campaign group which opposes development on greenbelt land have agreed to scale down their work.
At a committee meeting on Wednesday, Action Group Mirfield 25 agreed that it would continue to exist, but it will not be actively fighting its campaign.
AGM25 was founded to try and prevent the sale of greenbelt land at the top of Mirfield to developers. But chairman Rick Webzell said that there were currently no proposals for the group to campaign against.
He said: “We are scaling down due to a lack of interest from developers.”
