The following cases were heard by Kirklees Magistrates’ Court. Numbers refer to defendants’ ages and not addresses.

Vijard Hussain, (26), of Hutton Drive, Heckmondwike, £240 fine, £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge for racially aggravated abuse and/or behaviour.

James Brinklow, (33), of Edge Avenue, Dewsbury, Drug rehabilitation requirement for 9 months, Six-week electronically-monitored curfew, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge for stealing vodka, whiskey and wire cutters, failing to surrender and failing to attend probation appointments.

Drew Evans, (22), of Cemetary Road, Dewsbury, jailed for 12 weeks, £500 compensation and £80 victim surcharge for theft of a Citroen Xsara and failing to surrender to custody.

Reman Hassan, (22), of Heckmondwike Road, Dewsbury, Community order with electronically-monitored curfew for 16 weeks, disqualified from driving for 9 months, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge for driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.

Lee Watson, (24), of Longfield Road, Heckmondwike, Community order with electronically-monitored curfew for 12 weeks with 10 day rehabilitation activity requirement, disqualified from driving for 24 months, £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge for driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.

Ayyoob Dawoodji, (21), of Hope Street, Dewsbury, £365 fine, £150 costs, £37 victim surcharge and £1.90 compensation for travelling on the railway without a valid ticket and using threatening/abusive language.

Joshua Regan, (23), of Calder House, Mirfield, £440 fine, £150 costs, £44 victim surcharge and £2.20 compensation for travelling on the railway without ticket.

Matthew Wood, (35), of Old Bank Road, Mirfield, £330 fine, £150 costs, £33 victim surcharge and £1.90 compensation for travelling on the railway without a valid ticket and using threatening/abusive language.

Robert Green, (60), of The Avenue, Batley, 12 month conditional discharge, restraining order, £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge for harassment.

Daniel Beeby, (25), of Charles Street, Dewsbury, 8-week sentence suspended for 12 months, Community order with 100 hours unpaid work for harassment and failure to comply with community order.

Beverley Lodge, (34), of Windsor Road, Birstall, disqualified from driving for 18 months, £273 fine, £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge for drink driving.

Naseer Mahetar, (28), of Lidgate Gardens, Dewsbury, disqualified from driving for 12 months, £120 fine, £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge for drink driving.

Ryan Aubrey, (32), of Greenfield View, Batley, disqualified from driving for 12 months, £600 fine, £45 costs and £40 victim surcharge for drink driving and driving without insurance.

David Crisp, (59), of Balmfield Crescent, Liversedge, £200 fine, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for driving without insurance.

Patryk Sroka, (24), of Redberry Avenue, Heckmondwike, disqualified from driving for 9 months, £120 fine, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge for driving without insurance.

Steven Lynn, (29), of Mount Avenue, Heckmondwike, jailed for 12 weeks and £115 victim surcharge for assault by beating, causing £100 worth of damage to windows and doors and breaching a community order.

Stephen Cascarino, (53), of Heath Road, Dewsbury, £2,134 of costs and fines for false transport documentation.
