School’s festive gift to charity

Staff and parents from a junior school clubbed together to deliver an early Christmas present to for Batley Food Bank.

Lydgate Junior and Infant School in Soothill asked its staff to bring items to donate instead of exchanging Christmas cards.

And at performances of its nativity, A Sleepy Shepherd, parents were asked to bring along some food for the collection.
