A series of disco dazzlers from the 1980s are set to be re-lived as four acts from the era are to appear in Batley for a night of nostalgia in April.

The event will be headlined by mid 80s stalwarts Go West, famous for their hit singles We Close our Eyes and Call Me.

Also featuring at the Batley Frontier Club on April 2 will be Hazell Dean, and Eurovision champions Bucks Fizz, complete with Morley lad Stephen Fox in its quartet.

And for Eurovision diehards there’s another treat in store with Sonia, who shot to fame with You’ll Never Stop Me From Loving You in 1989, completing the evening’s lineup.

The evening is being organised by RAW Events, with tickets available at £35.

And if the time travelling and uplifting music wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, then you may like to know that the bar will be open until well into the early hours.

Paul Wilson of RAW Events said: “It will be a night of drinking, dancing and nostalgia and is a must for all fans of 80s music.

“It’s important to note that these are all the original bona-fide artists, and not tribute acts.”
