A week of activities at Bywell School reinforced a strong anti-bullying message.

Children wrote poems and songs, made posters and even a short film during Anti-Bullying Week last week. And it was topped off with the creation of a display featuring anti-bullying messages.

Year 6 teacher Mariyam Sharis said: “We take part every year to show our support and to show that bullying will not be tolerated in our school or in the community. This year’s theme was around cyber bullying and it was fantastic that all the children now understand that it is not tolerated and where to come if they are subject to it.”
