A TEENAGER was head-butted to the ground and robbed as he was listening to music on his phone.

The 16-year-old was walking along Park Road in Ravensthorpe, towards the greenway, at around 6.30pm on Monday.

He saw a group of five or six youths and one of them tried to grab his phone, but failed.

The victim was then head-butted by an Asian teenager and fell to the floor, dropping his phone.

The phone was picked up by the Asian boy, aged 16 or 17, who ran down a snicket towards Sackville Street.

He was followed by the rest of the group, who shouted at him to give the phone back.

He was around 5ft 11in tall, slim, with short black hair, and was wearing a black prayer cap, traditional Asian dress and white trainers.
