VIDEO: CBBC Live in Leeds

Dick and Dom opened CBBC Live in Leeds in Millennium Square yesterday.

The fun will continue today (Friday) and Saturday as regular CBBC shows such as Blue Peter, Newsround and Wild will be broadcast live from the city centre.

Hacker The Dog and his half-brother Dodge will be live from the main stage along with presenters Chris Jonson and Katie Thistleson.

Families can turn up to the free events on the day but expect queues as it will be very busy and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and over 18s must be attending with a child.

Along with all the exciting live performances, five activity zones and the interactive treasure hunt will keep everyone entertained. Including the Wild Zone which gives the children a chance to see and touch bugs, snakes and all other kinds of wildlife.

Main stage events are:

Friday 26 July:

Noon–3.15pm: Sam & Mark are centre stage today and will be taking on their own Officially Amazing challenge (12.10pm and 2pm); hosting a Comedy Palace showcase (12.30pm and 2.30pm) and introducing Breeze Got Talent winners (1.15pm)

Saturday 27 July:

9am–10am: Wild live (This is a ticketed event)

Noon–4pm: Naomi Wilkinson will be your host for a WILD afternoon, packed with animals, experts and much more.
