DEWSBURY Moor return to Yorkshire League action with a vengeance as they meet Hunslet Old Boys in a re-arranged Premier Division game at Heckmondwike Road tomorrow (2.30pm).
The Moor gave a very good account of themselves last weekend when they only went down narrowly at Conference side Ovenden in the BARLA National Cup and that performance will have lifted confidence for what will be a testing time in the league.
The game was quickly re-arranged because the Old Boys were due to visit Eccles in the National Cup but the Lancashire side have withdrawn from the competition.
Ossett Trinity and Batley Boys try for the third time to play each other. They have twice been unable to play at Halifax Road but tomorrow’s game is a Yorkshire Division One fixture at Ossett’s Church Street and will certainly be welcome as the home side have not played for much longer than most clubs.
Mirfield have no fixture and the only other Yorkshire League game is in Division Three with Shaw Cross A visiting East Leeds A.
Pennine Division Two side Thornhill A have a difficult game at Dearne Valley Bulldogs, who won 32-0 at Overthorpe last November.
