Ravenswharfe ease into Heavy Woollen Challenge Trophy final

Ravenswharfe booked their place in the Heavy Woollen Challenge Trophy final as they eased to a 4-0 win over Clifton Rangers Reserves last Sunday.

Ben Smith hit a brace, while further goals from Rob Stenhouse and Stefan Madden saw Championship side Ravenswharfe safely through and they will play Deighton WMC in the final at Ossett Albion on Wednesday May 2.

Deighton WMC lead the Championship by two points after they earned a 6-5 win over Clifton Rangers thanks to an Adam Hale hat-trick, two from Gary Price plus a Paul Pyke strike.

Wellington Westgate beat second placed Mount Pleasant 2-1 thanks to strikes from Brett McDodagh and Lee Bradshaw to move up to sixth place.

Mount Pleasant are two points behind Deighton having played two games more and several clubs below are looking to catch them for second place.
