Ward propels Huddersfield Town to thumping win over Yeovil

Danny Ward scored twice as Huddersfield Town returned to winning ways with a 5-1 rout of Yeovil Town.

Town recorded their first win in five games and got back on track in the Championship with a comprehensive home win, despite the visitors taking the lead through Ishmael Miller on 14 minutes.

Adam Clayton levelled on 23 minutes before Martin Paterson gave Town the lead five minutes before the break.

Joel Lynch’s header made it 3-1 at the break and Ward rifled home two strikes in the second period to wrap up the three points.
