Hartshead Moor beat the weather and overcame Bowling Old Lane by 67 runs in the only JCT600 Bradford League second team match to reach a conclusion last Saturday.

Chris Swift hammered an unbeaten 68 and Jack Baldwin added 31 as Hartshead posted 173-5 in their 25 overs.

Old Lane lost early wickets when they replied and even the determined efforts of Rashid Ramzan (61no) could not save them from defeat as Callum Wilkins took 3-21 and Jeff Wynd (3-25).

Victory saw Hartshead climb to sixth place.

Several rain interruptions during the Lightcliffe innings, meant Heaton only had 17 overs to achieve a positive result in reply and they reached 73-4, with Imran Dawood (35) top scoring.

Keighley reached 140-9 in 48 overs against Pudsey Congs, who had made 3-0 in two overs when rain brought the game to a premature end.
