Dewsbury Rams coach Glenn Morrison was extremely satisfied with last Sunday’s performance as they ran out 46-8 winners over Whitehaven.
The Rams produced some scintillating rugby at the start of the second half as they ran in four tries in the space of 11 minutes.
Speaking after the victory, Morrison said: “That performance has been coming for a while.
“Our defence has been really good in our other games and was outstanding again but when we got the ball in hand we showed the kind of footy we want to play.
“We talked at half-time that the next 10 minutes would be important if we wanted to make it easy for ourselves and we were then able to enjoy the rest of the game.
“We talked about being clinical and we did everything right and certainly enjoyed it.
“Browny (Aaron Brown) was out outstanding but so was Spicer and the entire front row and we showed what we can do.”
Morrison was also delighted with Dewsbury’s completion rate in the second half, which was 82 per cent.
