Soothill smash 11 at Norfolk
SOOTHILL went goal crazy to record an 11-1 victory over Norfolk in Spen Valley League Division One last Saturday.
Johnny Beverley, Nathan Wilkinson and Richard Markham-Smith bagged a hat-trick apiece with Adam Williams and Dave Martin also on target. Jalal Qadri replied.
Ryan Simmons and Dave Berry scored as Bulls Head Dewsbury beat Heckmondwike Sports (Luke Barraclough) 2-1.
An Ash peel brace and further goals from Ash Fallas and Lee Heppinstall wasn’t enough to prevent Howden Clough losing 7-4 at BD Reserves, while Inter Batley lost 3-2 at home to ALC despite goals from Ashraf Navsarka and Sulyman Variava.
Alb Nichols, Tomasz Bieg and Lee Aston earned Ravensthorpe Bulls a 3-2 win over Fairbank Reserves, while Savile United beat Cleckheaton Sports 3-2, despite Tim Wilkinson’s brace.
Kyle Kershaw, Davis Webster and Johnny Asquith struck as Marsh were held to a 3-3 draw by Girlington in the Premier Division.
Ravensthorpe Rangers lost 2-1 to BD3 United, Mo Adam and Mohsin Hashe scored in Savile Town’s 3-2 defeat to Fairbank United, while Bradford overcame TVR 3-2.
