DEWSBURY Moor have wasted no time settling into the newly-formed Pennine League Championship Division and opened with a good win last weekend.

They get a chance to add to that tally with the game against Bradford side Clayton at Heckmondwike Road tomorrow (2.30pm). The Moor have been scoring plenty of points in the league and, counting their exploits in Division One East, are on a run of five successive wins.

The visitors will be competitive as they finished third in Division One West to qualify for the Championship.

Thornhill Trojans have moved within touching distance of the top of Division Three, now only a point behind leaders Selby Warriors and with a game in hand. The sides have yet to meet at Overthorpe Park.

Tomorrow Thornhill seek to maintain their challenge as they visit Odsal Sedbergh, who are fifth.

Dewsbury Celtic are still second in Yorkshire Division Two, although Batley Boys are breathing down their necks with games in hand. Celtic have strengthened of late and seek what would be an eighth successive league and cup win when they visit Moorends.

In Division Three second-placed Shaw Cross A have a big game against unbeaten leaders Castleford Panthers A at Leeds Road, where the visitors are seeking their 14th successive league win. In the same division White Rose visit Methley Royals.
