Gary Sykes has put birthday celebrations on hold as he continues preparations for his English super featherweight title shot against Kevin Hoper in Cleethorpes on March 15.
Sykes turned 29 on Wednesday but he is hard in training ahead of his upcoming bout.
Trainer Julian McGowan had Sykes and stablemate Tony Aitcheson doing sprints in the snow at Spenborough Athletics track early on Sunday morning.
Tickets to see Sykes are available from the Central Boxing Club, Dickies Gym, Batley or by tweeting McGowan @centralboxing.
Sykes has also been helping fellow super featherweight James Ancliff, who bids to end an 11-fight losing run when he meets Lewis Jones in Doncaster tonight.
