THEIR FINEST HOUR
An historic sporting moment will be brought back to life in Dewsbury town centre.
Members of Dewsbury Rugby League Club’s 1973 cup winning team, including ex-captain Mike ‘Stevo’ Stephenson, will be handed the trophy on the steps of Dewsbury Town Hall – 40 years after their victory.
It is part of Heavy Woollen District’s first Rugby League Day, with a range of rugby related activities taking place. It kicks off at 10am on June 29.
