The grant, with the help of funding from the Leeds LEP, could cover up to 50 per cent of a businesses’ training costs.

Craig Marney, Managing Director of Martech UK, said “At first it seemed too good to be true but we thought it was worth trying at least once.

“It turned out to be very straight forward; we were assigned a client manager who has helped us with each step of the process.

“Our grants have supported a range of training focussing on sales, IT, HR, management and communication to date.

“Around 20 staff have attended training with LEP funding but we are working on further applications.

“Our staff are our greatest asset and they are essential to the success of the business; their knowledge and experience is invaluable. In return for their loyalty, which we hope the training will increase, the business can continue to prosper and support both the existing staff and future employees from the local area for years to come.”

The funding can be used for a wide range of courses with anything from sales and marketing to leadership and management.

It is only available until March 31 so businesses who are interested are encouraged to get in touch today for a no obligation chat.

Enquiries can be made by visiting the website www.the-lep.com or calling 0113 3861910
