Louise has been putting in the hard miles as she prepares to line up with thousands of other runners in the Virgin London Marathon on April 13.

Morrisons in Heckmondwike is the venue this Sunday between 10am and 4pm when Louise’s family and friends will be packing shoppers’ bags in return for a donation to her special charity.

Louise is running this year’s London Marathon for Diabetes UK as her daughter’s boyfriend has had type 1 diabetes since he was seven.

“It is a great charity and I would like to give something back for all the care and help he has received,” she said,

Last year Louise, who is a learning mentor at Battyeford Primary School in Mirfield, ran her first London Marathon for Heart Research UK and Morrisons offered great support by hosting a similar successful day.

Among the other events Louise has organised is an 80s Night at Gomersal Cricket Club on Saturday February 8 with tickets priced £5 each.

Anyone wanting to support Louise’s marathon effort can donate by logging on to http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LouisePinder or pop along to Morrisons on Sunday.
