Dewsbury betting shop Ladbrokes has given us a £50 charity bet for the big race.

We aim to win money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and have gone for Triolo D’Alene to win the world’s most famous steeplechase.

Sports reporter Andy Hunt went to the town centre bookies to put a £25 each way bet on Triolo D’Alene at odds of 20-1, meaning if the horse finishes in the first four in Saturday’s race we will win the cash on behalf of our chosen charity.

Andy said: “Triolo D’Alene ran in the Cheltenham Gold Cup in preparation for the National and following a prolific race win back in November jockey Barry Geraghty was quoted as saying this horse will win the Grand National.

“Even if Triolo D’Alene does not win, backing it each way gives us a good chance to win some cash for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.”

At the time of going to press, Teaforthree was 8-1 favourite to win the 167th Grand National.
