Manor Croft Academy’s transition ambassadors act as a link between the school in Earlsheaton, year five and six pupils in local primary schools and the wider community.

They have each taken part in a two-day training programme with the University of the First Age and will help run activities with primary pupils in the year ahead.

Twenty of the ambassadors also helped out at the school’s first senior citizens Christmas lunch by greeting guests, serving refreshments and even playing bingo.
