Both girls through to the Britain’s Next Top Model house - and Emma gets best picture

In the first show of the series, Saffron Williams from Batley and Emma Ward from Heckmondwike made the final 14 – with a delighted Emma winning best picture from the first photo shoot.

There was a nail-biting moment for Saffron though, as she appeared in the bottom four. Happily though she made it through to the next round.

Next week is makeover week, which usually reduces at least half a dozen to tears as the hopefuls are given a new look.

Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model is on Sky Living at 9pm on Thursday.
